Still Waters, Dusk

A wide landscape built from thin, layered glazes so the water reads as genuinely still — the reflection sits a half-tone below the sky rather than mirroring it exactly, which is what gives the surface its weight.

Presented in a reclaimed oak float frame with a natural wax finish, chosen to keep the palette warm without competing with it. The piece suits a long wall above a sofa or sideboard and reads well from across a room.
